Isnt about time that we abolished the Bingo call two fat ladies for the numbers 88 ? I know the big Organisations have fazed it out but i know for a fact they still say it at the more local clubs, ie working mens clubs etc.Should we also think about making the word fat illegal ? If it is carried on at these Bingo clubs, it should be worded two clinically Obese Females.Should we also start closing working mens clubs down as they have primitive opinions of women ,breed political incorrectness ,

I don't really think there's any reason why it shouldn't be used. Its just a way of making sure people know what number was called.I think its taking political correctness a little too far.

i called bingo today at the local daycentre, called 88 about 7 times. leave it alone its a national institution.

Hi Spida, Thankyou!!!! Its about time someone stood up for us larger ladies. I am a big lady, okay, im greedy and i love my chips and burgers, but theres no need to mock me. My husband refuses to take me to his club as he says its a shame that i should have to hear such references to my size. I used to love a game of bingo, but as my George says, the bingo caller makes it shameful to be fat. He knows I feel picked on and encourages me to stay home to spare my feelings in public. So yes, ban these type of bingo calls, and ban the word fat. Large is quite a sufficient word.
