...for choosing to play for another countries rather than their own country (Brazil)esp that both were born and lived in Brazil for a long time before they move to the countries they play for nowEduardo Da Silva born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and moved to Croatia when he was 15 yrs old Deco born also in Brazil and moved to Portugal when he was 19 yrs old..Do u think that it would have been better for them and for the Brazilian national team to play for their own country (Brazil)or it is ok to play for another country?Personally I donot think it is a big deal but some friends of mine including a Brazilian doesnot like this idea so much...What about u ?

Why would they??? Like they dont have enough good players in Brazil!! And plus do you think da Silva would even make the cut?! Deco maybe because of the way he plays but Brazil has enough talent to replace anybody anytime.

Well I'm not brazilian but I think they take the spot that is most secure or just because they like that country more. I see nothing wrong with it.

Deco, yes, but not da Silva. I think its kind of messed up, but hey, if a country is desperate enough to include players from another nation to better their own national team, then good for them; what ever floats your boat, I guess. As long as they don't start getting carried away, like France or the USA, the latter which includes people who can't even speak their native language, into their national teams (specifically U-20). I know I'll stop being a Brazil fan if they start including complete strangers from foreign countries, just to keep up with the rest of the world; its low, cheap, and degrading.

Sure Not, they would never had a chance in brazilian soccer team because our federation choose always the players who have common interest with CBF, like Ronaldinho who always bring a lot of money when play. They were right in finding another countries for play.

it pisses me off sooo much. not because I like Deco or Eduardo but because theyre not the only ones. thanks to the law that Pele the jackass invented, now we have players leaving the country at the age of 14. Now you ask why is it bad? its because the quality of soccer inside the country is going down. Take the brazilian championship this year. its the worse championship technically speaking from the last several years. we don have any stars playing in brazil anymore either. And we seem to have stopped fabricating great players. Since Robinho in 2002 we havent had any gifted player since they ship'em off to europe at an early stage without developing their skill and giving them the experience that only brazil can provide.

YOU CAN'T REALLY BLAME THEM FOR GETTING A SHOT AT GLORY IN ANOTHER COUNTRY WHEN THEY KNOW THEY CAN'T GET IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY.

would those players even be playing for brazil lol. brazil has so many players it really doesnt matter. i just wish fifa had some rule that it was based on you were your parents live or lived not were you do or that when you that after you become a teenager it doesnt matter were you live you can only play for a country you lived in the past or based on you parents. it just seems to me is that brazilians could just decide to move some were that ist as good in soccer and get citzenship and than play for that country instead.

It's more political than anything else because those players who were born in Brazil and playing for another country are very lucky because the Brazilian national team doesn't really needs them because they have an army of well qualified players to play for the country,on the other hand it's better for Deco and others to obtain the citizenship of the country where they're living and have more chance to play and compete internationally.
