Hamilton admitted pressing the green "N" button which kicked his vehicle into nuetral during the race...and ON BOARD video confirms it.  Question:  Why does McLaren insist on trying to cover this???  What's the big deal? Here's their (McLaren's) responses in the media:A McLaren spokeswoman elaborated: "It was due to a default in the gearbox that selected neutral for a period of time."It was not as a result of Lewis pressing an incorrect button on his steering wheel," she added.McLaren chief executive Martin Whitmarsh explained: "It would appear that the barrels that change gear went out of control - and out of control of the driver - and that's probably hydraulic."Redbull...Huh...the Video wouldn't hold up in court?  It shows Hami pressing the green button with a white "N" on it...I believe the "N" would stand for Neutral, no???Also-  Hey all, don't get me wrong...I'm NOT picking on Hami here.  I like the guy for the most part, and actually have more respect for him for his honesty.  I'm just floored by McL's reaction...especially when there's already a dis-trust of Big Corporations in this day & time.OK, thanks again, for ALL your input.

this is because they don't want Hamilton's fame to go down. people look up to Hamilton as the best rookie and possibly best driver. if they admit it was Hamilton's fault then Hamilton will be seen as a choker who was pressured during the last race. yes he is a choker and he admitted it although he didn't exactly say he was pressured. everyone knows he failed because of pressure, it's just that mclaren wants to tell the world that it wasn't his fault to maintain his "greatness".

The article stating that he admitted to messing up, came from a dodgy source, none of that would hold up in court...I'll see if i can take another look. But we really don't know what any of those buttons do, and N could stand for a whole bunch of other things.Rockford, a lot of F1 vids get pulled of youtube. I recently put one up that got pulled after less than three days...
