that was purchased by someone else for you, do you think you'd be obliged to give them half of the winnings?? Its a tough one, i think it depends on who it was that purchased it for me - like if it was work or something, they can get stuffed,  but if it was family, then i would give them some

i would give who ever bought it me the pound that they paid for it   before the draw, obviously then if it was a family member is give them a share any way.......it would also depend on how much i won lol......

If they purchased it and gave it to me then it was a gift and all mine......Obligated is the optimum word......no I wouldn't feel *obligated* but I am generous to a fault so they wouldn't end up empty handed

It wouldn't hurt you to share the half. After all it's actually from other people's money. And the fact that you don't have such amount before. So why not share the wealth, make other people happy and I'm sure you'll be more happier too. Hey! and don't you, forget me.
