He is one of the greatest drivers on the track, He would have made it in to the chase if it wouldn't have bin for i think its 5 blown engines, some of these happened when he was running in the front, not to mention the 100pt penalty he got for the wing bracket (DEI's Mistake Not JR) plus being at the wrong place at the wrong time, Most of this could have and shod have bin avoided, Even though i am not a Gorden or Johnson fan doesn't mean i cant still root for JR. JR FAN FOR LIFE

I don't hate Jr ,but I'm not a fan of his either . He is a mediocre driver . Might of won 2 Busch title's and 17 race's ,but Nextel Cup is tougher than Busch . The announcer's and media dote on Jr like he has REALLY done something short of spectacular when actually he hasn't .Jr lost a lot of his desire after he lost his dad and also after the fiery crash in the Rolex race .Like someone else said he is more into making commercials and appearing in music video's .Thats why Teresa told him its either racing or the entertainment business.The reason why Jr has so many fan's is because of his last name and because everyone else pulls for him aka .bandwagon jumper's.I'm not saying that all Jr fan's are that way ,but a lot of them are .I used to say that it was also because he drove a beer car ,but as we all know that will change next year. We will see who Jr;s TRUE fan's are come next year when he drives for a team that is currently a rival .Not only to Jr but to his fan's as well .The majority of Jr's fan's are anti HMS .I've even heard current Jr fan's say that they will pull for someone else since Jr will be driving for HMS .Jr is my least favorite driver . The others that join him are Gordon and Johnson .As I said at the start I don't hate Jr nor do I hate any driver or wish any physical harm to them .

Ignorant people bash Jr's ability. They know absolutely NOTHING about driving race cars. The guy takes a top 20 race car and consistently finishes top 5, when the engines aren't blowing up, of course. I hate to hear people who have never driven a race car open their ignorant mouths and pass judgement on a professional. 17 wins!!! 40th on the all-time list (tied with Kurt Busch).Heck, that's more wins than Matt Kenseth has!!!I think that those that bash Jr are too ignorant to understand that 99% of stock car racing has to do with equipment. DEI's equipment SUX! It's as simple as that. It's amazing that Jr finishes as well as he does with the crap he's given to drive every week.Why is it that most all of the veteran drivers name Jr as one of the best in the garage if it's not true?

He's an ok driver. I hope he does better at HMS next year and gets lots of wins.

Do you have an opinion on Jr.? I have been a Jr. fan since he started driving Busch. He's been thru some pretty stressful family problems, but I think next year everyone will see what he really can do!Go Jr.>>>>

I missed most of the race today traveling but sure would like to know more about what happened on Lap 28 in today's race that ended with the #5 in the wall and pretty much done for the day. Jr. has a lot to prove next year and he will have no excuses although we may hear the whole "it's a new team, it takes time to adjust" if he doesn't win races next year. We will probably also hear the crap about Johnson and Gordon getting all the attention and that Earnhardt isn't getting a fair deal. It will never end.
